About the artist
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Marina Spasova lived in her motherland until the age of 10, when her father won a coveted green card, and her whole nucleus immigrated to the United States. MS reached legal adulthood in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, (shout out: Skokie; shout out: Morton Grove), and decided to pack her suitcases and jet back across the Atlantic. Paris called— she answered: Bonjour!
MS graduated from the American University of Paris with an Art History degree, and minors in Literature and Fine Arts. Indeed, she can appreciate, record, and create art. Her sprightly fingers are always on the pulse of Parisian pop-culture, and her spidey-senses tingle when an interesting exhibit opens. It is remarkable.
Marina Spasova is a multidisciplinary artist-polymath extraordinaire. Her mediums of choice include: watercolors, pencil, oil, acrylic, collage, video, photography, print-making, digital art… The things she can’t do are the things she hasn’t tried. She is also a freelance researcher, should your needs be of an academic nature.
